We would like to provide an important notice regarding shipments to the United States.

According to information recently provided by FedEx, starting July 8, 2026, products subject to regulations of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) may be subject to mandatory electronic filing (eFiling) when imported into the United States.

The information provided by FedEx indicates that this may apply to various types of consumer products, including children’s products, household goods and furniture, consumer electronic and electrical products, home improvement and recreational products, and certain textile and apparel products.

For products that have not been previously registered with the CPSC Product Registry, additional information or documentation may be required during the customs clearance process. If the required information is not submitted, the shipment may be returned to the sender.

However, based on our direct inquiry with FedEx Korea regarding this matter, FairyLand is not required to complete the CPSC form or submit this information on behalf of the recipient. We were informed that the recipient in the United States should contact FedEx directly and handle the required procedures if additional CPSC information is requested.

Therefore, this notice is intended only for customers receiving their orders in the United States. Customers in other countries do not need to take any action regarding this matter.

If you are a U.S. customer and receive a notification or request from FedEx regarding CPSC information after your order has been shipped, please contact FedEx and follow their instructions.

Please note that we cannot determine in advance whether a particular shipment will require additional CPSC procedures. The requirements may depend on the product and the circumstances of the import.

If necessary, FairyLand will provide the shipping or invoice information that we can provide from our side. However, any information or procedures that FedEx requires from the U.S. recipient should be handled directly by the recipient with FedEx.

We recommend that U.S. customers pay attention to notifications from FedEx after their orders have been shipped to avoid delays or the possible return of a shipment.

We would like to provide an important update regarding international shipping.

Although this change took effect on July 17, we have not encountered any affected shipments so far. However, as it may apply to future orders, we would like to inform you in advance.

According to a new EMS regulation that took effect on July 17, shipments to the United States and certain European countries may require the sender to prepay import duties.

Previously, any import duties or taxes were paid by the recipient during customs clearance. However, due to recent regulatory changes in the United States and customs processing requirements in some European countries, EMS has informed us that, in certain cases, the sender must prepay these charges.

Under this new policy, FairyLand may temporarily be required to pay import duties for EMS shipments. If the amount is within a reasonable range, we will simply proceed with the shipment without requesting any additional payment. However, if the amount exceeds what we can reasonably absorb, we may temporarily hold the shipment and contact you to request payment of the additional charges before shipping.

The main difficulty is that the amount of import duties cannot be determined until the shipment is actually processed. The final amount depends on various factors, including the destination country, the declared value, and the type of goods being shipped. Because of this, it is not easy for us to modify our shipping system so that import duties can be calculated and applied automatically.

Among our major shipping destinations, the United Kingdom is not affected by this new policy. In addition, not all EU countries follow the same procedures, as import duties and collection methods vary from country to country. We expect that the details will become clearer only through actual shipping experience. Based on what we learn, we may update our shipping system or introduce new tax-related options in the future.

Please note that this change does not affect customers who choose EMS Premium (FedEx). EMS Premium provides a service that allows the recipient to pay any applicable import duties directly. Therefore, this new policy applies only to shipments sent by EMS.

Lastly, EMS has informed us that EMS service is no longer available for Romania. From now on, shipments to Romania can only be sent via EMS Premium (FedEx).

We would like to share some important details regarding our upcoming schedule for this summer.

• Summer Vacation (July 23 – July 28) Along with some of our team members attending a figure-related exhibition event, our doll business team will be taking their summer vacation from July 23 to July 28. Please note that our online store will be closed during this period, and any inquiries received on our Q&A board or via email will be answered sequentially starting from July 29 once we return.

• Upcoming Summer Event Although we cannot share too many details just yet as several aspects are still being finalized, we are currently preparing a Summer Event. Please be advised that there will be no new product releases for this upcoming event.

• Temporary Store Closure (Starting September 1) Our scheduled Summer Event will run until August 31, 2026. While we have been hosting events without new releases for quite some time, we have decided that a period of thorough reorganization is essential for us to return to our original standards of quality and service. While the head is technically based on our existing Phoeb head, we incorporated the requested changes using the customer’s written notes and reference images. Although the final design may not perfectly match the customer’s original intention, we hope this serves as a meaningful attempt—and we plan to continue exploring this level of customization for future releases.

The new Valérie Elf Head was created in response to a long-time customer’s repeated request for a custom modification.

We would like to share a brief update regarding the upcoming Winter Event, which many of you have been asking about.
